Expect a festival vibe at Melbourne’s iconic Meat Market as installation and illuminated art from Pelican Studio sets the scene for UKI, the robotic artcar stage, to take you on a wild sensory ride.
Featuring two sets from the Spoonbill Ensemble (downbeat and party set) alongside a host of local talent in a nod to Melbourne’s reputation as a pioneering force in the global electronic music community, this is an event to get your party pants ready for.

Spoonbill's new EP - Crosshatch is ready to be unwrapped and presented live to Melbourne for a one off spectacle show. The event will feature the Spoonbill live ensemble performing within a custom built set and augmented with theatrical performers, lighting and visual delights.
Also sharing the stage on the night will be local DJ favourite Kodiak Kid serving top shelf groove, live electronica maestro Eastward who will be showcasing his recently released his debut album "Dream Of Hawaii", and Melbourne beatsmith chief amillionthings.
One of Melbourne's favourite natives delivers a new offering that weaves through sublime and squelchy synth tones, royally funked-up guitar and horn lines interlaced with irresistible lashings of exquisite bass. All entwined with that cheeky Spoonbill Wonkadelic Glitch Groove.
After the recent release of the critically acclaimed downtempo album Tinkerbox, Spoonbill swoops back on the dancefloor with a beak full of squawking grooves ready to set the party alight. Squawkus is a menagerie of four festive tracks all uniquely armed with solid funky rhythms, chewy bass tones, squawking melodies and signature Spoonbill production prowess.
Squawkus is set to drop June 10th.

This is Spoonbill’s 4th full-length album and for many it may well be his most impressive release to date. The album sees a shift from the recent dancefloor heft to a more lush and cinematic listening focus. The album features an array of exceptional musical talents recorded in studios around the world over the last 5 years. The live instrumentation has been forensically sculpted with synthesized tones and foley recordings to achieve a dynamic spectrum of tonality that provides the listener with an evocative cerebral experience.
